How much does dog behavior training cost?
Pricing depends on whether the dog participates in the nine-session Behavior Modification program or the three-week Behavior Modification Board & Train. No prices are listed on this page. Review the current pricing information or call (239) 330-3926 for program details.
How long does dog behavior training take?
Behavior Modification Lessons include nine sessions. Behavior Modification Board & Train includes three weeks of immersive training plus three additional one-hour lessons: two before boarding and one approximately two weeks afterward.
Continued practice and management may be necessary after either program.
Which behavior program may be right for my dog?
The appropriate option depends on the type and severity of the behavior, the dog’s history, safety requirements, and the owner’s ability to participate.
Share the dog’s complete history during the consultation, including any aggression, snapping, biting, severe fear, or problems around other dogs.
Can dog behavior training help with aggression or reactivity?
Behavior Modification Lessons are available for aggression, reactivity, severe anxiety or timidness, and problems around other dogs. Behavior Modification Board & Train is intended for dogs with dog-directed aggression, human-directed aggression, or both.
Improvement may be possible, but aggression and reactivity cannot be guaranteed to disappear completely. Continued safety management may still be required.
Where does training take place for North Florida owners?
Off Leash K9 Training – Ft. Myers operates in the Fort Myers and Southwest Florida area. North Florida owners should contact the team before enrolling to discuss travel, scheduling, program availability, and training logistics. Do not assume that private lessons are available in North Florida.
Is a muzzle required?
Some dogs participating in Behavior Modification Lessons may require a separately purchased muzzle. The team can provide guidance on sizing and muzzle training.
Dogs entering Behavior Modification Board & Train must be muzzle-trained before boarding. The muzzle must be purchased separately.
Does dog behavior training guarantee results?
No. Training outcomes depend on the dog’s history, temperament, environment, safety needs, and owner follow-through. Aggression, anxiety, and reactivity cannot be guaranteed to disappear completely.
The goal is to provide structured training, owner guidance, and practical management strategies based on the dog’s needs.
