Frequently Asked Questions
How much does puppy training cost in Estero, FL?
Pricing depends on whether you choose a Puppy Training Consultation, the five-lesson Pawsitive Puppy Lesson Program, the 10-day puppy Board and Train, the comprehensive Puppy to Adult program, or the online course.
Review the Plans & Pricing page for current information, then call (239) 330-3926 to discuss program fit. No prices are listed on this page.
How long does puppy training take?
Program length depends on the selected option. The consultation is a single session, the Pawsitive Puppy Lesson Program includes five lessons, and the puppy Board and Train lasts 10 days.
The comprehensive option includes a 10-day puppy phase followed by a separate two-week adult phase when the dog is between 8 months and 1.5 years old. Continued practice at home is necessary after formal training ends.
Which puppy program is right for my dog?
The appropriate program depends on your puppy’s age, vaccination status, temperament, current behavior, your schedule, and your training goals.
Very young puppies may begin with a consultation. Hands-on owners may prefer private lessons, while eligible puppies between 12 and 24 weeks old may qualify for the 10-day Board and Train. Call (239) 330-3926 for guidance.
Are house-training and crate training guaranteed?
No. Puppy programs may provide routines and guidance that support housebreaking and crate-training habits, but neither result is guaranteed.
Progress depends on the puppy’s age, development, home environment, routine, and owner consistency.
Do you offer puppy training for Estero residents?
Yes. Off Leash K9 Training – Ft. Myers serves Estero and surrounding Southwest Florida communities. Scheduling, availability, and training locations are confirmed individually.
What does my puppy learn?
Depending on the program, skills may include Sit, Down, Come, Place, loose-leash walking, greeting manners, play, socialization foundations, and confidence-building.
Not every skill is included in every program. Puppy programs focus on age-appropriate, on-leash foundations; advanced or off-leash training is addressed through eligible adult programs.
